CEO APPOINTMENT AT BRISA: VECIH YILMAZ ASSUMES THE ROLE OF CEO

A change in the CEO position has taken place at Brisa, the leader of Türkiye’s tire industry. Following the retirement of Haluk Kürkçü, who had served as Brisa’s CEO since 2020, Vecih Yılmaz assumed the role of CEO as of January 1, 2026.

Commenting on the leadership transition, Burak Orhun, Head of Strategic Investments at Sabancı Holding, stated:

Newly appointed Brisa CEO Vecih Yılmaz shared the following remarks:

About Vecih Yılmaz:
Vecih Yılmaz holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Middle East Technical University and a master’s degree in Financial Economics from Galatasaray University. He began his career at Deloitte and has been part of the Sabancı Group since 2009, holding senior management positions at Sabancı Holding, Enerjisa Enerji, and Çimsa. He has also served in finance leadership roles within the Kibar Group. Since 2022, Yılmaz had been serving as CEO of Akçansa.
