VIPAL TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TIRE COLOGNE 2026
One of the world’s largest rubber manufacturers and a reference in tire retreading, Vipal Cauchos will participate in The Tire Cologne 2026, one of the leading international trade fairs in the tire sector, which will take place from June 9 to 11 in Cologne (Köln), Germany. It is one of the main global events in the industry, bringing together manufacturers, retreaders, distributors, and tire experts from around the world. During this edition, the company will present the Vipal DV-UMe, VL170A, and VT570 treads.

Focusing on strengthening Vipal’s position on the continent, the company’s participation in the fair reinforces the momentum built over its two decades of presence in Europe. During this period, it has structured its presence in the region through close customer support, local stock, and specialized technical assistance provided to clients in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, and Africa).
“The Tire Cologne is an ideal opportunity to get closer to the market and strengthen our relationships with customers and strategic partners. We approach this edition with very positive expectations, supported by more than 20 years of development in Europe, with a solid presence and continuous attention to new growth opportunities. Over these two decades, we have established a robust organization in the region, based on proximity service, local stock, and solutions tailored to the demands of a highly competitive market. This milestone reinforces the consistency of our internationalization strategy and highlights the importance of Europe for Vipal’s global growth,” says Felipe Henzel, Commercial Director – International Markets and Two-Wheel.
Vipal will be represented by Henzel, Gilson Dugno, International Business Director, as well as the Vipal EMEA team.
Strategic Portfolio For Different Applications
Among the highlights at the stand are three retreaded tires featuring Vipal treads (DV-UMe, VL170A, and VT570), products already well accepted in the European market, particularly in Germany, demonstrating the company’s compliance with regional operational requirements.
DV-UMe, the first Vipal tread developed for electric vehicles, will also have a prominent place. The product is currently in the final testing phase in several European countries, such as Spain, Portugal, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Hungary, showing very positive results. This solution therefore has strong potential to support the growth of fleet electrification across the continent.
In addition to treads, Vipal will also present products from its repair line, particularly patches, highlighting the breadth of its portfolio and its ability to meet the diverse demands of the retreading market.
Global Structure With Local Presence
Based in Brazil and present in more than 90 countries, Vipal has established a solid internationalization strategy. The headquarters of its European subsidiary is located in Valencia, Spain, and has expanded its operations to more than 50 countries over the past twenty years. Its operations currently rely on three distribution centers located in Spain, Slovenia, and the United Kingdom, as well as a team of specialized professionals in technical, commercial, administrative, and customer service areas — a structure well suited to a demanding and highly specialized market.
