HANKOOK EXHIBITS ITS PRODUCT LINE-UP AT THE INAUGURAL RTX SCOTLAND 2025
New for 2025, Hankook Tyre UK will showcase its portfolio of Hankook and Laufenn commercial vehicle tyres on stand B20 at the debut RTX Scotland trade show taking place at the SEC in Glasgow on 19th-20th November. Organised by the team behind the highly successful Road Transport Expo in Stoneleigh, RTX Scotland brings the same truck-focused ethos to the Scottish market, with more than 50 exhibitors ranging from major truck OEMs and trailer manufacturers to tyre producers and workshop specialists. Over 7,000 visitors are expected to attend across the two-day event, offering the chance to explore the latest industry innovations, attend expert-led seminars, workshops, and tech-talks, and connect with key industry associates.
A tyre-talking-point at the Stoneleigh show earlier this year, Hankook’s e-SMART City AU56 – the first EV bus tyre introduced to the industry in 2024 – will be on the stand again. This pioneering tyre delivers exceptional durability, energy efficiency, and safety for urban transport. It has been engineered to meet the specific requirements of electric buses, featuring low rolling resistance for extended range per battery charge, reduced noise to enhance passenger comfort, and robust durability to withstand high torque and heavy loads from battery weight.
Also on display will be Hankook’s recently launched 315/80R22.5 Smart Work AM11+, designed for both on and off-road use. Built for durability in front steer applications, it offers enhanced stop-and-go operations, with reinforced sidewall protection for added toughness in mixed-service environments.
Visitors will also be able to explore Hankook’s SmartFlex range for hybrid usage in both regional and long-distance tyres. The SmartFlex AL51 (steering and all-position tyre) and SmartFlex DL51 (drive axle tyre) both deliver exceptional performance from the first to the last millimeter of tread depth. Like all modern Hankook truck tyres, they can be regrooved and are retreadable, maximising cost efficiency and sustainability.
Alongside Hankook tyres, the company will be highlighting its secondary brand Laufenn, including the Laufenn365 initiative and a selection of products such as the LF95 trailer tyre, plus the LF22 all-position and the LZ22 drive axle tyres for regional haul. Developed on Hankook’s expertise, the Laufenn commercial portfolio offers exceptional value for money, full retreadability, and reduced environmental impact— designed to support cost-conscious fleets without compromising on quality.
