PORTLAND E-PRIX: DS AUTOMOBILES READY FOR THE PENULTIMATE VENUE OF THE SEASON

DS Automobiles and PENSKE AUTOSPORT will take part in the Portland E-Prix this
weekend. The American double-header is expected once more to set the scene for several
overtaking moves. Two-time Formula E champion Jean-Eric Vergne and 2022 champion Stoffel
Vandoorne are ready to play a starring role within the Franco-American squad.

For the second consecutive year, the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship will visit
Portland in the United States from 29-30 June this weekend. DS PENSKE will definitely be one of the most motivated of the 11 teams taking part when it comes to scoring points on this rapid and wide circuit, which takes in 12 turns over 3.1 kilometres. As DS Automobiles and PENSKE AUTOSPORT hunt down a podium in the teams’ championship, the squad heads into this double-header with the clear aim of exploiting all its know-how to fight at the forefront of rounds 13 and 14.

From the drivers’ point of view, Stoffel Vandoorne and Jean-Eric Vergne intend to use all their
experience to figure among the leaders throughout the weekend. Jean-Eric Vergne, also a
brand ambassador for DS Automobiles, is currently just 31 points off the Season 10 podium
and is particularly determined to fly the flag high for the French manufacturer. The Portland races both get underway at 23:00 CET on 29 and 30 June.

Eugenio Franzetti, DS Performance Director:
These races are particularly important for us. There are more than 100 points up for grabs
before the end of the season, so we will give it everything to secure a place on the final podium
in the teams’ classification. We are currently just three points away from that third place, so
absolutely anything is still possible in this championship. As for the drivers’ standings, JEV is
only 31 points off the final podium place. Knowing our champion’s massive talent and
determination, I’m sure he has some great races in store for us with great results!
