2026 marks another significant milestone for Hankook as it prepares to exhibit at Euro Bus Expo for the first time, strengthening its presence in the UK’s passenger transport sector. Taking place from 3-5 November at the NEC Birmingham, the event is widely recognised as a leading exhibition for the bus and coach industry, bringing together operators, manufacturers, suppliers and key decision-makers for three days of innovations, insight and networking.

With more than 190 exhibitors and over 7,000 visitors expected, Euro Bus Expo provides a powerful platform to explore the latest developments shaping the future of public transport. From full-size buses and coaches to mini vehicles, alongside advanced technologies and services, the exhibition enables attendees to gain valuable insights and connect directly with key suppliers across the global supply chain.

Hankook Tyre UK will be exhibiting at stand 38, where the team will showcase its latest range of bus and coach tyres, with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability and performance. The company will present a comprehensive portfolio of bus and coach tyres at the show, including the Hankook Smart Touring AL22, a long-distance coach tyre designed for handling performance and high mileage. The Hankook urban bus range, all featuring built-in, measurable sidewall protection, includes the Smart City AU04+, engineered for urban durability with strong resistance to stop-start conditions; and the Smart City AU06, developed to deliver reliable performance in demanding cities. Also on display will be the Laufenn LF60, offering dependable all-position capability for mixed-use applications, and the newly developed e-Smart City AU56, Hankook’s dedicated EV bus tyre, showcasing advanced technology optimised for low rolling resistance, reduced noise and the higher load demands of electric vehicles — underlining the company’s commitment to supporting fleet electrification and more sustainable transport solutions.

In collaboration with its long-standing partner Vaculug, Hankook will introduce the LB01, a first-of-its-kind hot-cure remoulded urban bus tyre. The launch underscores the strength of the Hankook–Vaculug partnership and reinforces Hankook’s position as a provider of total tyre solutions across the full lifecycle. It also reflects Hankook’s commitment to delivering cost-efficient, high-performance and environmentally responsible mobility solutions for commercial fleet customers. Supported by Vaculug’s award-winning expertise in sustainable manufacturing, recently recognised with the King’s Award for Enterprise, the collaboration further strengthens Hankook’s role in advancing practical circular economy solutions without compromising performance.
