HANKOOK RETURNS TO ROAD TRANSPORT EXPO STONELEİGH TO SHOWCASE FULL COMMERCİAL TYRE RANGE
Building on the momentum of the highly successful inaugural Road Transport Expo (RTX) Ireland earlier this year, Hankook Tyre UK is set to return to the second RTX event of the year at the flagship NAEC Stoneleigh venue – the birthplace of RTX – taking place from 30th June to 2nd July. Hankook will present an extensive range of Hankook and Laufenn commercial vehicle tyres, highlighting its commitment to innovation and product development.
With more than 300 exhibitors set to attend – spanning leading truck OEMs, trailer manufacturers, tyre manufacturers and workshop specialists – and an anticipated audience of over 14,000 attendees, RTX Stoneleigh continues to establish itself as a central hub for the road transport community. The three-day event offers a unique, all-in-one platform for networking, knowledge-sharing and discovering the latest technologies driving the future of commercial transport.

Among the tyres on display will be Hankook’s pioneering e-SMART City AU56 – the brand’s first tyre specifically developed for electric buses – introduced in 2024. Engineered to meet the demands of modern urban mobility, the tyre combines low rolling resistance to maximise vehicle range with reduced noise levels to enhance passenger comfort. Its robust construction also ensures durability under the increased weight and torque associated with electric vehicles.
Also featured will be the Smart Work AM11+. Developed for regional and local distribution transport within the UK market, this front-steer tyre is engineered to withstand the demands of frequent stop-start operations. Reinforced sidewalls provide additional protection, making it particularly well-suited to demanding environments such as waste management and urban logistics.
For operators covering both regional and long-haul routes, Hankook will showcase its versatile SmartFlex range. The SmartFlex AL/AH51 (steer/all-position) and DL/DH51 (drive axle) tyres are designed to deliver consistent, reliable performance throughout their lifespan. Fully regroovable and retreadable, they support both cost-efficiency and sustainability goals – key priorities for today’s fleet operators.
In addition to the core Hankook lineup, visitors will have the opportunity to explore Laufenn, the company’s associated brand, including its growing Laufenn365 offering. Products on display will include the LF95 trailer tyre, the LF22 all-position tyre, and the LZ22 drive axle tyre, all designed for regional haul applications. Developed with Hankook’s engineering expertise, the Laufenn commercial range offers strong value, full retreadability and reduced environmental impact – ideal for cost-conscious fleets seeking reliable, environmentally considerate solutions.
