HANKOOK SHOWCASES ITS PRODUCT RANGE AT ROAD TRANSPORT EXPO 2025
Hankook Tyre UK will be showcasing its portfolio of Hankook and Laufenn commercial vehicle tyres at the Road Transport Expo trade show, hosted at the NAEC Stoneleigh in Warwickshire on Stand R30. Since its establishment back in 2022, the Road Transport Expo has rapidly established itself as a premier event in the UK transportation and logistics industry, attracting a diverse array of exhibitors and attendees, fostering innovation and collaboration across the sector. As the show enters its fourth year, it is expected to feature over 300 exhibitors, providing opportunities to gain expert insights, discover the latest industry innovations and vehicles, and network with industry leaders.
The Road Transport Expo is the ideal opportunity for Hankook to showcase its tyre range and highlight the company’s established reputation for producing high-quality tyres that offer superb mileage, reliability and excellent return on investment.
Hankook will also be promoting the launch of Laufenn365, a new digital platform designed to streamline damage claims for Laufenn tyres. The claims coverage guarantees Laufenn tyres against accidental damage, offering a refund under its damage warranty and providing customers with peace of mind and protection against unexpected costs.
Hankook continually invests heavily in tyre technology, aiming to design tyres to address the ever-evolving demands of today’s professional commercial vehicle operators. Debuting at last year’s show, Hankook’s e-SMART City AU56, the only tyre on the market specifically designed for EV buses, will make another appearance, showcasing its exceptional durability, energy, efficiency and safety for urban transport. This tyre is engineered to meet the specific requirements of EV vehicles, offering low rolling resistance for extended range per battery charge, reduced noise to enhance passenger comfort, and robust durability to withstand high instantaneous engine torque and heavy loads, primarily due to the high battery weight. Also on display will be the newly launched 315/80R22.5 Smart Work AM11+, designed for both on and off-road use, offering enhanced durability for front steer applications. Designed as a robust mixed-service solution, it offers exceptional stop-and-start resilience, further strengthened with reinforced sidewall protection.
A range of Hankook tyres will be on display including the brands hybrid usage tyres designed for both regional and long-distance transport: The SmartFlex AL51, designed for the steering axle and an all-position tyre, and the SmartFlex DL51 for the drive axle. Both tyres offer exceptional performance from the first to the last millimetre of tread depth and like all modern Hankook truck tyres, they can be regrooved and are retreadable.
In addition to promoting the latest Laufenn365 initiative, Hankook will showcase various Laufenn products including the LF95 trailer tyre, and two other Laufenn regional haul treads: the LF22 all-position and the LZ22 drive axle tyre. The Laufenn commercial portfolio, built on the reputable Hankook brand, offers exceptional value for money and guaranteed re-treadability across the range, aiming to reduce costs and decrease environmental impact. Hankook is recognised as the leader in the UK truck tyre replacement market, and the development of Laufenn truck tyres is a result of the extensive research into the ever-evolving commercial tyre market aiming to further strengthen market share in the UK.
Jon Cottrell, UK Truck Sales Manager for Hankook Tyre UK said: “The show is a great opportunity for both new and existing customers to connect with our team, enjoy our hospitality, and explore tailored tyre solutions with our experienced tech and sales experts. Plus, it’s the perfect platform to showcase and discuss our latest market-leading products.”
